This charming space is nightscaped with GFI outlets & watering station.

Aquatic and terrestrial plants include sedges, rush, iris, water lilies, lythrum, boxwood, pickerel plants, joe pye weed, fern, sargasso weed, water hawthorn, laurel, witch-hazel, daffodils, astilbe, hyacinth, japonica, etc.

The ecology is balanced but we feed the Shubunkins for fun.

The pond room helped us earn the distinction of  'Certified Backyard Habitat' (#48292) by The National Wildlife Federation. The plaque is on the main deck.
